Nicely made and look great in a period townhouse. Old sash windows revitalised.

They look good on period sash windows and do not require precision placement fore and aft.
A neat touch is that they spring upwards to enable the outer sash to slide past the inner without needing to simultaneously hold it out of the way.
Note that the supplied screws require a No 1 Posidriver bit.

If you have vertical sash windows and they are old and rattle etc. forget about fitting a "Fitch" style catch. Buy this as it pulls the two sashes together. The one I picked up from Screwfix for just over £3 was well made, cheaper than other suppliers and it as a spring in the base of the thumb screw which means that when the catch is unlocked it springs up out of the way so that the sashes pass each other without binding on the catch.

Really good quality and good price. Just take care when fixing that they are not too close to the glass as they an spring back and crack the glass.
