WFH-1040 Air Hammer & 4 Chisels 4cfm
Purchased this item to replace one which I ordered from an auction website that did not work and leaked air from every orifice!!!!
Bought to use a needle scaler attachment for removing paint and rust from a trailer chassis.
First impression was excellent value considering it has its own blown moulded plastic case which neatly stores the gun and all its components and included is a piece of foam rubber that securely keeps everything in place once the lid of the case is closed.
Air line attached and of we go.........Brilliant smooth hammer action controllable with an air control valve at the base of the hammer.
The best way to describe this item is like changing from driving a run of the mill car onto a Rolls after the previous experience with the first purchase.
Exceptional value for money, which made the job it was intended for effortless.
I would recommend this item for anybody looking into using air tools. One thing worth mentioning is that it uses a lot of air whilst functioning, so a 100ltr receiver compressor is really needed if you have a large job to complete.

Good, but needs adaptor.
Works well, and has lasted well. It won't plug and play with a Stanley compressor though, as there are two sorts of quick fit connector. This comes with the professional connector which takes the vibration better but won't plug straight in a standard air hose.

This item has hardly any vibration which is a novelty for such a tool.
Our old one meant we had to rest every 5 minutes to prevent white finger syndrome. This one allows us to work until the job is done.

Excellent value for the money
Bought these to chisel off locknuts on the underneath of pair of bath taps where they had used glue 50 years ago to form a seal, and where the threads had been contaminated with the same glue. Absolutely solid and locked on, not a hope of getting the off with a wrench. I had been trying with a adjustable wrench which kept slipping. This air chisel made light work of acting on the glued on locknut and the taps were off within 10 minutes each. I now have them for other difficult jobs around the place. They are quite air hungry though and I had to keep stopping to let the compressor recharge, it was a 25 litre one which is why I have not rated the performance as excellent but merely good. A small tool, which uses a lot of air, don't be fooled.
