Rated 5 out of 5 by Good range Installed gates at the end of the drive so needed a wireless bell. This isn't the cheapest out there but works really well. Gatepost is about 20m from the house, was concerned by reviews of other bells that don't match up to their claimed range. 30 Apr 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Will wake the dead! Installed easily in five minutes. Good volume for those hard of hearing. Good range and useful to have the wireless second chime when out in the garden. Too soon to speak about reliability. 9 Apr 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice chimes Took a little bit of patience to set up second bell push but great once done. We now have a bell for kitchen and front door with separate comes. Just get all bits together set them up before installing. 27 Feb 2016

I would like to have a pair of wireless bells and a bell push for one flat; AND one bell and bell push for another flat in the same building. Can they be set so the wireless connections don't conflict with each other?

Hello RetepG, Thank you for your enquiry. This can be achieved easily with this kit, as long as you take the precaution of setting up 1 kit at a time. This model can actually learn up to 6 separate door push signals if required, so it is important that you wait at least a few minutes from setting up the first kit and allowing the learning cycle to time out before moving onto the next. Another important feature of this model is that it has a reset feature, so that if you do run into trouble , after a reset back to factory settings you can start over again!

I have a wireless alarm system installed in my house. If I install a wireless door chime system, will there be any interference between the two wireless systems?

Hi - I bought a wireless bell some time ago and it wouldn't work to the shed so I returned it. That one said it would work 50 m, the distance to the shed is 30 m, but the signal would need to pass through a couple of glass doors and a double glazed door (pretty much line of sight, or go round the house) Will this one do this? Thanks for any reply.

Answer:
Hello BillyPayn. It is very likely that this product will work in the situation you have described. Please note that the signal the bell push transmits will become weaker with each window and door it has to pass through and the signal can't pass through metal. If your UPVC doorframes/window frames or the insulation in the walls of your house/shed contain metal, the distance the product will work to will be effected.

Hello Tony9999. You can buy another 81986 kit or the 49716 kit as these are compatible with each other and have the same specifications (100m, 6 sounds, volume control, 85db). The extra bell push can be kept as a spare. The 9180F, 52480, 97493, 80345 and 26396 kits are also compatible, however they have different specifications which are detailed in the product descriptions.
