Rated 4 out of 5Â by DeanB Good value for money fan
This kitchen extractor fan is good value for money, considering the volume of air it extracts per hour, the noise level and the other features. It is worth pointing out that this isn't the complete kit for installing a fan; you will probably need a pipe to go through your wall, and an outside plate, which you will need to purchase separately.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by NobbyB Replacement fan
Overall rating given only as good as this fan was bought to replace an existing vent axia fan of the same part number and the hole for the cable and the connection block was 180 degrees different to the existing one. Reliability unknown at this point as it has only been in operation for two day's, but if it is good as the last one, 14 years of service.

Very nice slimline fan and silent when switched on. Comes with 5 Year Manufacturer's Guarantee so hopefully will last for long.

This fan has a very slim profile and looks good. I selected 'fast speed' with the small 'dip switches' - after reading instructiions. Not too noisey in operation. I left the factory set time which gives about 15 minutes run-on (can be adjusted to shorter time if wanted).
Only one small issue to watch out for in my opinion: The cable terminals are very small and the cable entry needs to be near upper right corner when looking on front of fan. I used 3-core 0.75mm2 round flexible cable. Fan is double insulated, so only needs L, N and L (switched) wires i.e. No Earth! Connection diagram supplied was not particularly good as it mismatched against the fan terminal labels!
In use, I like the fan, it does it's job well and is very efficient considering it's low ellectrical consumption. Only a couple of months since I installed, so can't advise on long term reliability.
