Rated 1 out of 5 Does not work!
After wasting about an hour setting it up I soon noticed that the radiator was always on. I therefore gave it the benefit of the doubt, reset it and wasted another hour setting it up again.
Turns out the pin on the devise doesn't compress the valve pin on the rad enough and even when it thinks it is off there is still water flow into the rad and hence the rad is always on!
It is missing some other fairly basic functions, like letting you know what temperature it currently is in the room so you can a just accordingly.
And I wish I'd listened to people about the noise! I installed this in the bedroom and even though I'm a heavy sleeper it woke me up several times in the week before I returned it!

Nice bit of kit but a bit on the large side but thats not a downer. Thought I would try this TRV in my bedroom as I like a warm room in the evening but if theres any heat during the night or early morning it wakes me up - seems to do the timer part perfectly. Its a bit fiddly to set all the timers for different days but once its done thats it and it was a straight swap for the Drayton TRV 4 that was originally fitted. Noise from the motor controlling the valve is barely noticeable so should not be intrusive.

This is an excellent product to simply and quickly replace the old fashioned thermostatic values.
Screwfix were the only company which could supply. locally. Excellent service.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by reviewer22 I-Temp - good in parts
Over the last three years I have replaced all the wax filled radiator thermostats in our house with Pegler I-Temp ones.
They have enabled the house to be much more comfortable, with rooms heated at the appropriate times. They have saved substantially on our heating bills.
However, they are nowhere near perfect. Two of the eleven I have purchased have failed in the period. They chew through batteries. A couple are a little noisy. And while they can be programmed from a PC, they cannot be controlled remotely. I.e. you can set them up with a PC but you cannot control them in real time. In the age of the smart home, this is disappointing.
On balance, would I recommend them - Yes.
