Asked by: Houghta
Hi. It's impossible to say without knowing the details of your fitting. Assuming all other things are equal then yes. I.E. your existing tube was 1500mm and it is compatible with your batten. I would perhaps advise checking with an electrician if needs be.

What's the difference between 'warm' and 'cool' white with regard to fluorescent tubes?

tubes will be fixed under kitchen wall units to provide light over worktops. Which is more suitable 'warm' or 'cool'? regards
Asked by: spellboy
Cool white is pure white with a tinge of blue. A bit like a frosty winters morning and looks cold hence the name. Warm white is a creamy light similar to candle light. Gives the appearance of warmth. Cool white looks stark, warm white looks warm. Most times I prefer warm white.
