Answer: 
Cool white is pure white with a tinge of blue. A bit like a frosty winters morning and looks cold hence the name. Warm white is a creamy light similar to candle light. Gives the appearance of warmth. Cool white looks stark, warm white looks warm. Most times I prefer warm white.

Answer: 
Hi, it depends on personal preference. Warm is around 3,000 kelvin on the colour temperature scale. It gives a 'yellower' colour than cool white. Cool white is 4,000 kelvin on the colour temperature scale and gives more natural but slightly 'bluer' colour.
