Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, bit pricey These work really well and as expected. I've used similar items in the past and the thread has slipped, but I haven't had this problem with these. It's worth noting that the 80mm measurement INCLUDES the 15-20mm required for the legs to fold also. So if you need a clearance of 60mm, these should be fine - any more and you'll need a longer item.

Would i be able to use this toggle to anchor a home safe to floorboards

Asked by: GITTS

Would these take the weight of a shower screen to be fixed to a stud wall ?

Asked by: MisterMRG
Hi, each fixing can safely support 16kg into a stud wall. As such the weight of your shower screen should be able to be safely supported by this fixing.

If the diameter is 5mm does that mean the wings fit through a 5mm hole or are they larger

Asked by: Barry13
Hi, A 14mm diameter hole is required to push the toggle through to the blind side of the panel.

What weight can these take ? Also what size of hole do you drill ?

Asked by: skillboy
Hi, The M5 x 50mm spring toggle can safety support 16kg when installed into 9.5mm thick plasterboard or 18kg when installed into 12.5mm thick plasterboard.

Can this bolt be used to affix a mirror to a lath and plaster wall?

Asked by: johnemel

Help!!

I am trying to fix a metal bathroom cabinet with heavy-ish mirror doors and with four corner holes to a cavity wall, but attempts with various types of fixings have all failed and only succeeded in making the holes in the plasterboard bigger and bigger! The holes in the cabinet will only take a 4mm screw. What do you recommend please, given that the plasterboard, although in a brand new house, 'crumbles' VERY easily? I

Hi, The Rawl-4-All plug would be the best fixing to use if you are having issues with weak plasterboard.

I have to fix vertical radiator to a cavity plasterboard and tile wall. The rad is 56 kilos and masonry fixing have been included. I was thinking Spring toggle for 6 fixing points. Would 5 x 50 mm toggles support weight.

Plas board and tile is approx 25 to 28 mm thick
Asked by: Karen12
Hi, each fixing can safety support 18kg, assuming the plasterboard and tile wall can also take this load. M5 x 80mm long may be required for your thickness as the wing length on these is 25mm and this must be subtracted from the length of the screw to allow it to get through board.
