Rated 5 out of 5 by Got me gripped! Sometimes you need to fix into a plasterboard wall when there isn't any other option other than using this type of fixing. The good thing about these spring toggles are they will grip into the back of the plaster board and spread the load over the clip. The large pan head screw gives a secure grip to the item you are fixing, which can be increased by the addition of a washer. Simple effective fixing method, handy to have in your toolbox. 4 Jan 2016

Help!!

I am trying to fix a metal bathroom cabinet with heavy-ish mirror doors and with four corner holes to a cavity wall, but attempts with various types of fixings have all failed and only succeeded in making the holes in the plasterboard bigger and bigger!
The holes in the cabinet will only take a 4mm screw. What do you recommend please, given that the plasterboard, although in a brand new house, 'crumbles' VERY easily?

Hi, The Rawl-4-All plug would be the best fixing to use if you are having issues with weak plasterboard.
