I am trying to fix a metal bathroom cabinet with heavy-ish mirror doors and with four corner holes to a cavity wall, but attempts with various types of fixings have all failed and only succeeded in making the holes in the plasterboard bigger and bigger!
The holes in the cabinet will only take a 4mm screw. What do you recommend please, given that the plasterboard, although in a brand new house, 'crumbles' VERY easily?
Hi, The Rawl-4-All plug would be the best fixing to use if you are having issues with weak plasterboard.

I have to fix vertical radiator to a cavity plasterboard and tile wall. The rad is 56 kilos and masonry fixing have been included. I was thinking Spring toggle for 6 fixing points. Would 5 x 50 mm toggles support weight.
Plas board and tile is approx 25 to 28 mm thick
Hi, each fixing can safety support 18kg, assuming the plasterboard and tile wall can also take this load. M5 x 80mm long may be required for your thickness as the wing length on these is 25mm and this must be subtracted from the length of the screw to allow it to get through board.
