If fitting relatively thin T & K brackets (to hold my TV aerial mast ) to modern brickwork, will 75mm be the preferrd length?

Asked by: Anthony19
The minimum hole depth is 65mm, take the bolt out and hammer in the shield until the metal ferrule is flush with the surface. Maximum fixture thickness (your bracket) for the Rawlbolt M10/10L (10x75) is 10mm. The 65mm hole depth will ensure you don't break out the back of the brick.

Can I use this to hang a TV on a internal wall it is hollow as I tried using normal rawl plugs.

Asked by: Bgriggs
Our Rawlplug Interset Hollow wall anchor would be more suitable, check our website rawlplug.co.uk & select from the Products dropdown menu - Lightweight fixings - Plasterboard Fixings - SM Interset, you need to look under board thickness range & maximum fixture thickness.

Can these be used on York stone flags?

Looking at building a pergola onto some York stone flags and thinking of using these rail bolts with some fence post brackets, I think the flags are about 25mm thick, the pergola will be about 2.2m tall and roughly 3m square, support posts will be 4"square. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Asked by: OddJob72
Hi, concrete screws would be more suited to fixings to stone flags as they will cut a thread into the limited thickness of stone available. I would not recommend using the Rawlbolt. The Rawlplug LX bolts would be suitable.

Weight bearing load?

I want to use these to secure a fixing to my wall for suspension training. I'm 12 stone = 76kg. Will these hold?
Asked by: Anonymous
Hi, this will depend on what your wall is made of. For solid clay bricks the safe working load is around 200kg per fixing.
