Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product Used these rawl plugs to hang bracket for outdoor A/C unit into concrete block. Did the job. No worries. 20 Aug 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by M8 Rawlpug It did exactly what it's intended for. Combined with a good quality 14 mm masonry bit it's anchored my heavy hinges to masonry, supporting a very heavy gate. 2 Aug 2016

Looking at building a pergola onto some York stone flags and thinking of using these rail bolts with some fence post brackets,
I think the flags are about 25mm thick, the pergola will be about 2.2m tall and roughly 3m square, support posts will be 4"square.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Answer:
Hi, concrete screws would be more suited to fixings to stone flags as they will cut a thread into the limited thickness of stone available. I would not recommend using the Rawlbolt. The Rawlplug LX bolts would be suitable.
