Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good solid wall fixing 8no. were used to fix heavy duty twin wall flue brackets to outside of house. A couple needed to be encouraged with additional tools to split, grab & stop spinning due to brickwork with deep 'frogs'. These bolts allowed a reasonable amount of adjustment. These are suitably strong for this type of work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from M12 Packaging Wrong Info This is a good sturdy bolt but the installation data on the pack is wrong, it says drill 18mm diameter hole, whereas the Rawl website says 20mm. There is no way this is going to get into an 18mm hole without destroying the wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong and versatile fixing This is a great quality, extremely strong fixing. I prefer this to the other/ standard m12 variation rawlbolt because you can fix slightly thicker objects to the wall out of the pack. You can also use standard threaded rod in these, which in some circumstances can be extremely useful. Have used these for securing ledgers to the wall amongst other things with no problems and great ease. These will take a huge amount of weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy. Much better quality than some cheaper rawlbolts. Pack of five quite annoying; most jobs usually require even numbers of fixings!

Answer:
Hi, these fixings can be used in thermalite block, do not overtighten the anchor on installation however or there is a chance of splitting the block.
