Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it says on the box! Inexpensive to buy; easy to get via click and collect. Does the job perfectly - no more messed up plasterboard walls trying other ways of 'closing' hollow wall anchors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't um & arr… just get this If you ever use even one hollow wall anchor or interset fixing, you should do it with this. Consider it essential. Using those fixings without this just won't result in pleasure, it will almost always fail and depress you. With this tool, your success rate will escalate and you'll be more confident and probably richer. What it does is to reach behind the already drilled and inserted fixing anchor, with the bolt in it already fitted but left hanging out a few mm (I actually take it all the way out, take the washer off, put it almost all the way back in, as the washer impedes sometimes, then restore the washer once this has done the job). You grip the screw in the inside of the channel of this tool, with the outside of the end against the fixing on the wall, and squeeze the handle (maybe a few times). There is an entertaining black plastic rod that will erect and extend each time you squeeze. Once it as crimped the umbrella-like struts on the other side of the drywall hole, you'll feel it stop and you can release the locking with the small catch afore of the handle, then remove the tool. Careful with the nose end against painted wall, it will leave a mark, so I've often put a small wedge of paper or tissue against the wall just near the fixing to buffer against marking. If you're worried about the price and whether you could save the money and struggle by, consider this a worthwhile investment.

Answer:
Hi, unscrew the Interset so as to leave a gap between the underside of the screw head and the flange on the Interset. Make sure the setting tool trigger has not been pulled (pull in the metal lever to reset it if it has been) and put the head of the screw into the Interset after placing it in the wall. Then pull the trigger on the setting tool to secure the fixing. 2 or 3 pulls of the trigger may be required depending on the size of Interset used, you will feel the resistance increasing when the fixing is fully set.
