Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff Needed this to level a bathroom floor which was 20mm lower at one side than the other! Strongly recommend a stiring paddle for your drill (Screwfix do one for a fiver). It needs to be mixed and used quickly and I made the mistake of mixing the first pack by hand. I managed it OK but needed another pack to get the required depth and it was so much better when power-mixed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product Does exactly what it says. Cement based and feathers down to nothing. Advise buying a mixing paddle for your drill though. Coverage not great is the only downside.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish! Used this stuff because being two parts it should be impossible to mix up wrong. I found it was very thick, did not spread evenly. I used on a concrete floor it went off so quickly left trowel marks and didn't find its own level. Just about good enough to tile on top of but made tiling a very difficult job. Tub is advertised as 12.5kg I assume this includes liquid but instructions refer to 10kg bag of powder when you open the tub there is a 7.5kg bag of powder. Will use a different brand in future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product DIY reviewer here, needed some floor leveller that would smooth out to a feather finish, very easy to mix, I used a mixing paddle and an 18v drill, no mess as it all mixes in the supplied bucket and levels out really well, easy to smooth out using a float. Couldn't ask for more except a little more in the bag as it doesn't cover much!

is it suitable for water based underfloor heating

Asked by: joe08
Hello joe08, I have checked this one with our supplier who has confirmed that this self levelling compound is suitable for use with water based underfloor heating and provided the following advice : The heating would need to be commissioned and switched off before the leveler is applied. The heating should not be switched on for a minimum of 14 days after the leveler has been laid or floor tiles fixed and should be brought up to temperature at a rate of 5 deg C per day up to operating temperature. Thanks for using Q&A, KC

What is products coverage?

Asked by: karl200375
Hello. As an approximate guide at 5mm thick you should expect to cover around 1.5sq metres. Hope that helps. Thank you for using Q&A MH

The product instructions state that a latex primer must be used prior to applying to certain surfaces. Could you confirm which primers are compatible

Asked by: dh0666
Hello Dh0666, If you were to type ''PVA'' into the search bar it will bring up a range of PVA products, these can be diluted to form a suitable primer. Thank you for using Q&A.

Will this blend with Pro 50 ?

sloping floor with a 20mm drop diagonally. Ideally I need a S-L screed covering 0-20mm.This does 0-10, pro50 does 5-50. Would there be any problem pouring pro50 in the deep corner switching to this to finish to the feather edge?
