Rated 4 out of 5 by Let it dry fully We used this paint on a cement garage floor. We left it to dry for about 36 hours before putting the car on it but then some paint flaked off where the wheels sat. We then put another coat on those patches and let it dry for five days before putting the car on it and we haven't had any more flaking. The painted floor looks quite smart and it has eliminated all the dust we used to get when we swept the floor. It's a good product - but be sure to let it harden off. 9 Jun 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Coverage I just used this product on a recently laid garage floor. After the roof went on and the floor dried, I had plenty of dust.'PLENTY.' The product went on easily and sealed the concrete giving a nice finish. Just be aware, and it does warn you, the coverage can vary with the type of surface you apply it to. Other than that I'm dust free and the option to screed also exists. Good product, good price, it does the job so no complaints. 26 Apr 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good shed base solution Used to cover a flaky concrete shed base 3.5m x 2.5m. Swept the powdery surface first and this bound the surface well; each coat went off in a day with a bit of sun on it but smells and feels like it needs ventilation and warmth to cure indoors. Built the shed on top once it had cured and now takes a ride on mower with no problem. First coat took a fair bit, but second coat gave twice the coverage. 3 Apr 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Leyland Trade Heavy Duty Floor I bought this to seal the concrete floor to my garage. The paint gave very good coverage and goes on easy. I have got away with one coat only, although I have previously sealed the floor (using another product). The drying time for me was approx 36 hours, this was when it was dry enough to walk on. However I would definitely recommend this product. 16 May 2016

Answer:
Hello Dproperty. Our Leyland Trade Heavy Duty Floor Paint does not require the use of a sealer prior to application. Provided the concrete is fully dry, thin the 1st coat with up to 5% white spirit. Once dry apply 2 full coats. Thanks

Answer:
Hello. The Leyland Trade Heavy Duty Floor Paint is suitable for areas subject to 'medium' traffic. it is particularly useful for use in garages where people leave cars overnight. Therefore it will be fine if you intend on using a trolley jack. However you must wait 7 days after application to allow the paint to fully 'cure' - essentially achieve full durability, before you use the trolley jack. Thanks

Hello. Yes this will be fine. If it is an unpainted floor thin the 1st coat with 5% white spirit, then overcoat with 2 full coats. If it is previously painted ensure the surface is clean and dust free, and apply 2 coats. Thanks
