Rated 4 out of 5 by Good paint for floors Painted on the floor, which is now a nice frigate grey colour instead of a concrete shade of grey. Seems to last well, not been down very long yet. So far good product 13 Apr 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good product I bought this to sort an existing double garage floor that was showing signs of wear. It's an excellent product. Very good coverage and goes on easy. I only used one coat thinned as described. Couple of things to mention, drying time for me was approx 6-7 hours with a very strong smell throughout. Bear in mind this product is flammable, defiantly use in a well ventilated area due to very high Voc content. 6 Jan 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to apply I bought this to seal a brand new concrete garage floor and have to say I just followed the instructions . 5% dilution with white spirit for the first coat was recommended and the new concrete soaked an awful lot up I used much more than I expected , the second coat however used a lot less so evened itself out . I have had it down for 3 months now and it seems very hardwearing. 9 Dec 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Goes down easily Pleasure to apply. looks great. covered a different colour in one coat but put second on anyway. best to give a bit longer than recommended for drying properly especially for heavy traffic areas 16 Nov 2015

Would you use a roller to apply this paint to a concrete floor and if so what type roller, and presumably a brush to cut in? Thanks.

Answer:
Hello. yes I would use a roller - either a medium pile, or a short pile if the floor is particularly flat and smooth. use a brush to cut in the edges, then roller up as close as possible to these areas in order to create a more uniform finish. Thanks

Hello. Unfortunately I can't give a definitive time frame as to how long the Heavy Duty Floor Paint will least before showing signs of wearing. factors such as heavy furniture, heavy foot traffic will naturally wear the coating down over a period of time. However as this is a staircase, with natural wear and tear, I would suspect the Floor Paint will last a period of around 2-3 in a reasonable condition. Thankyou

Hello. yes this will be fine. treat all knots with a knotting solution then thin your first coat with around 5% white spirit. Once dry apply 2 full coats. Thanks.

Hello. Unfortunately our floor paint cannot be applied to surfaces that have been sealed with PVA. You must first thoroughly sand the surface to remove the PVA, then rinse with clean water and allow to dry before applying the paint. if it is bare concrete, thin the 1st coat with up to 5% white spirit then apply 2 full coats.
