Rated 5 out of 5 by Requires a combiner too! This module has 2 cable entries - One links directly to Sat 2 socket. One is to a splitter circuit (inside the metal cover) which connects to the TV, Radio and Sat 1 sockets. In the loft, or somewhere convenient, you need a combiner to merge the TV aerial and one satellite cable into one cable which then goes to this box. It saves running a separate cable. . The second sat connector is direct from the dish for SKY+, or you can use it for something else, like sending the output of Sky box to another room. I hope this helps! Andy 27 Dec 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what it appears to be. The one I received was faulty (internal short) however it would have went back anyway. As most installations these day are twin satellite cables I thought this would tidy my wires up, I was wrong. It has 2 satellite outputs plus TV and radio, however there are only 2 inputs to the rear, now unless I'm missing something I cannot see how you can have RF terrestrial signal coming through a satellite dish because the 2 inputs to the rear supply the 2 satellite outputs at the front, I checked the with a meter. So unless mine was faulty in more ways than one I cannot see the point of it. 3 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by LAP tv fm & 2 satellite module Needed to tidy all the satellite cables and tv cable instead of having numerous face plates. This does the job perfectly, good design. 30 Apr 2014

Answer:
Hello Mauro,

You would need a Coaxial Cable Splitter such as - http://www.screwfix.com/p/coaxial-y....

I hope this information helps.

Thank you for using Q and A.

Just want to know if this is good enough to take the sky HD cables straight from dish without having to split/combine etc.
Don't need TV/Radio to work.

Answer:
Yes. You can fit x2 cables, from your LNB, to the rear of this unit, which typically you'd do in order to feed the two inputs on the rear of any SKY+/HD receiver.

Answer:
If you search for "TV/FM/Sat combiner" you will find products that combine the signals at the sources (e.g. in your loft).

You then run the cables as shown in the picture.

This means that you only need two aerial cables between your loft and the outlet location.

Answer:
Its not a combiner a the dish end. These are for professional installs. You need a different dish for this type of socket, A different len, & a multiswitch. The signals are taken from 4 separate coax cables at the new dish / len. The TV/FM/Dab are on another combiner at the mast. This is then fed through a single coax to the switch, making 5 coaxs in total to the multi switch. These 5 signals are broadcast to the switch - the switch will then feed these 5 signals to the faceplate. This faceplate will then "decode" the signals & give the relevant service required. DO NOT BUY THESES SOCKETS FOR A REGULAR HOUSE SET UP.
