Chrome interior letter plate So far so good. I have checked prices of similar products and there is no comparison when it comes to value. Certainly a difference in quality of the dearer products but the difference in price not justified. 7 Dec 2014
Really Nice Quality! This flap exceeded my expectations - high quality chrome finish plus a tight fitting (invisible) surround and internal insulation brushes. If I had another front door I'd buy one straight away! 27 Jun 2013
Does'nt quite do the job The plate looks quite good when fitted with a high shine chrome type appearance. The frame, however is made of plastic and bends slightly along its length, meaning that in the centre of its length, it doesnt sit flush to the door face. A major fault only becomes office when something is posted. The standard outdoors letter plate wedges in the brushes of this product and the letterplate stays open, until released from the brush. If the product was a little thicker to keep the brushes away from the door then Im sure it would work a bit better. 21 Dec 2012
"Chrome effect" letterplate Okay, so the flap is made of metal and that's chrome plated. Nice and shiny, lovely. The body of the letterplate however is made of shiny chrome effect plastic, and it looks a bit tinker-tonker. The moment you lift up the flap you can see this in all its glory so if you're trying to impress the mailman this isn't the product for you. The spring is provided by two pieces of white plastic which twist when opened, and the ends of them can be seen in the sides of the body when the letter plate is mounted. All up it looks as cheap as it is and I wonder if it will last. Maybe on a Wendy house, but I can't see it making it in the real world. 19 Jul 2011
