Forge Steel Sash Clamp 48"
These cramps are reasonable strong and generally would work well. But they have one fault that lets them down. The floating shoes have a lot of play which means that they tilt back too far putting an upward pressure on the piece of work. I appreciate all these types of cramps do this a bit but on these it is excessive. You either have to compensate by using extra cramps on the other side or using shaped cramping blocks to compensate. I am going to return as they are not really good enough.

48" Sash Clamps?
I went to buy a cheaper 48" sash clamp but had a final check of the catalogue in-store. Unlike the website, there is a clamping capacity quoted and I realised that they were not long enough! Bought the Forge Steel clamp which has a 1200mm quoted capacity (Although, I found it a few mm shorter in practice). Very pleased with the last minute change. Strong, large capacity clamps which worked well and worth the extra money.

Solid clamps but very oily
Solid clamps but covered in oil.Unfortunately the supporting peg holes are full of oil and machining debris so unless you plan on jet washing the clamps first you're going to get caked in oil along with anything you're clamping. Returned to screwfix.

Good solid clamps, have been clamping big table tops with them, work great. watch out for the protective coat of oil on them though
