Rated 5 out of 5 by Set in stone Used this to seal my window lintel before filling with mortar...worked a treat 3 Sep 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product Used to fix m16 studs into brick wall to secure trimmer plate. Never used a resin that fits a standard silicone gun before, but it worked great. Took about 5 minutes to start setting, and once set it was rock hard. One tube did about four fixings. 12 Aug 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Contingency Fixing After playing around with crumbly walls and different sized rawl plugs and screws, I read about the product and after using it, I can see why its so highly rated. A bit annoying about the nozzles, but after it hardened, a quick mix in a bowl and fed into a piping bag. It worked exactly the same. Great product! 17 Jun 2016

Thanks for your enquiry.
Polyester resin is not suitable for damp or wet conditions, FIS VT 380 C would be much better and can even be used in flooded holes.

Answer:
Thanks for your question, Yes you can use the FIP 300 SF Polyester resin for this application, For an M8 threaded rod you will need to drill a10mm Ø hole to a minimum depth of 50mm. You can go deeper if you wish. It is most important that you clean the hole out thoroughly using blowout pump and brush. make sure resin is mixed by squeezing out a couple of inches first before filling the hole by about 2/3rds. gently twist in the threaded rod and leave to fully cure.

Answer:
Spare nozzles are available. The beauty of the fischer resin is that you have the full shelf life as printed on the tube. Once opened, throw away the cap, fit the nozzle, squirt a small amount onto a piece of card then use as directed. When finished leave the nozzle on, which will harden in around 5 minutes. This stops the air getting into the cartridge. Then when required (weeks later) replace the nozzle and repeat.

FIP 300 SF Polyester is made up of a white component and a black component and when mixed in the nozzle comes out a battleship grey colour. Always extrude about 2" to make sure it is mixed properly.

Answer:
Sorry for the delay.

It is possible to use the resin like this into brick or block.
You will need to ensure the hole is brushed and blown out.
It is possible to insert a fischer SX plug into the resin while it is wet to fix a wood screw into if required.
