Rated 4 out of 5 by from A bit was missing Despite this being a nice inexpensive set of drill bits, I was rather disappointed to find one of the bits missing. I could go and exchange it but I can't be bothered. Check it's complete before you walk away, that's my only critisism

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A GREAT BIT OF KIT I purchased an DeWalt 18v drill from B & Q in 2015 and this set was on offer with the drill. I have been delighted with both and since bought another of both from Srewfix. We have used these virtually every day for over a year with no problems until this week when we lost one of the adapters so I am now ordering another set. I have read the bad feed back on these sets about the adapters jamming but I wouldn't be surprised if they are being used with impact drivers these are not made for that. DeWalt make another set specially for impact drivers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Jammed bits Bought this as it looked like a good deal, on the whole it's well built and the bits are of a reasonable quality, the failure of this in my opinion is the amount of times the bit jams in the holder, frequently has to be removed with pliers and is extremely annoying ,I see from other reviews that I am not alone in having suffered this problem, De-Walt please take note and remedy the issue, will be taking it back to Screwfix after the holidays either for a refund or a replacement

i.e. the DCF886 DeWalt Impact Driver (Prod Code: 6905G)

The Driver states it has a ¼" hex chuck, and this kit says it includes a 'hex to ¼" adaptor', so presumably the bits would *fit*.

But is this an appropriate set of things to be used with an impact driver, or is doing that going to damage these bits and/or the driver and/or the screws I'm trying to put it?

Answer:
Hi There
This set would work but the bits are not Impact Rated, They would would be more suitable for use with a Screwdriver, Drill Driver or Combi drill.
If you want a set which is designed for use with an Impact Driver then 7045F would be a great set with heat treated, hardened Screwdriver bits which will last a lot longer than your standard bits.

Answer:
Hi,
The screwdriver bits are not magnetic like all screwdrivers bits, but if you use these in a magnetic holders then they will transpose some of the magnatism to help hold screws.
