Rated 4 out of 5Â by saluja great but not brick size
Light not used yet, but first issue is with size, it's not a standard brick size - i'm making step on patio and have tried selection of bricks to match the size, without success. Otherwise, it looks well made and will be installing LED bulb. Please ignore 'good' scores for reliability and performance as it's not been connected yet.

by StuN Brick light size and fitting
- Product Depth = 83 mm - UK Standard Brick Depth = 65mm
- Product Height = 105 mm - UK Standard Brick Width = 102.5mm
- Product Length = 233 mm - UK Standard Brick Length = 215mm
UK Standard Brick Length = 215mm + 20mm (10mm of mortar either side of brick) = 235mm
UK Standard Brick Height = 65mm + 20mm (10mm of mortar either side of brick) = 85mm
UK Standard Brick width = 102.5mm + 20mm (10mm of mortar either side of brick) = 122.5mm
As most mortar joints are usually a little more than 10mm the lighting unit should fit snugly into a space evacuated by a single standard UK brick and its surrounding mortar with a few mm to spare.
Fixing within this space however, unless your building a new wall and can fit it whilst building, may need a preparatory fixative, such as a resin, as normal mortar will not suffice in gaps of only a few mm.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Eddyk45 good item but didn't measure
Didn't realise that the size quoted was not our standard engineering brick size so had to make a few adjustments to get the build to fit the light. Put some led bulbs in the fitting and work a treat.
