Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised at how good they are Went another large diy store and they were nearly £4 more per pair so good value. Not dark brown more medium in colour and fitted with the decking better, very pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fence support price reasonable solid construction only 2 negatives : vertical support not as tall as some I have used, bolt holts narrow so holes have to be precise and vertical other brands have allowance for adjustment I had to enlarge holes to fit bolts

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product Just the job! Used these for a small fence in top of a stone wall, very easy to fix down and very sturdy. No movement in the fence at all.

Answer:
Hi tchucter,

Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to comment on this due to the variables which could affect the products suitability, such as the fixing types, suitability of anchorage and material of post. Also issues with wind with such a high structure could cause further problems.

We would advise contacting a suitably qualified tradesperson for advice on the best way to do this.

Thank you for using Q & A.

Answer:
Hello CC1983. If you have access to the underside of the decking I would recommend using 8 mm stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. If there is no access, and you would have to gauge if these would withstand the weight and strain of how you are using the supports, you could use stainless steel self-tapping screws, (i.e. our product code: 4587H). Hope that helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.

I Have found some concrete screws at screwfix that are 7.5mm x 150mm. Will this do the job?

Answer:
Hello Locky5

The manufacturer has recommended an 8mm screw, for the 10mm fixing holes in this Bolt-Down Post Support. If you are looking at the concrete screws 7465H, the head is only 11mm at it's widest. I'd suggest something like 49364, the DeWalt Hex Head Screwbolts, might be better suited.
