Rated 5 out of 5 Best handsaws around
I'm a carpenter and have been using these for years. Tried various other brands/prices and Barracuda win hands down. they simply last longer. The balance in your hand is just right. same old story if you hit a nail though ;-)
I'd say buy the 22" rather than 20" to stop it jumping out of the cut. am just about to buy another. Expected usable time is around a month on site and longer if you then use it as a plasterboard saw.

Hardpoint saws are often much of a muchness I feel, but this Bahco is a nice stiff saw which is easy to keep in line and isn't prone to bend when it hits a knot or sticky bit of wood. Can't rate its reliability but as long as I don't hit any nails I expect it will be fine. Certainly much better than the cheap throwaway hardpoints which flap all over the place when working fast. The stiffness makes it easy to use the whole length of the blade so you get on more quickly.

If anyone can recommend a noticeably better saw than this for even double the money, let's hear about it!
Super sharp, I've been using it for cutting landscaping timbers of up to 8" X 4" and it's been effortless. Sufficient stiffness in the blade to help maintain a straight line.
Awesome saw, well done Screwfix.
