Hello Thank you for your recent enquiry. Providing the walls get no more than hand hot then Bulls Eye 123 primer is perfect for your project. One or two coats should be applied by brush or roller at a coverage rate of approximately 10m2/L/coat, with a re-coat time of 1 hour. Once this has dried your choice of decorative top coat should be applied, either oil or water based. We recommend the area is clean prior to application for this hot soapy water should be used then rinsed with warm water. I hope this helps.

Hello. Thank you for your recent enquiry. The Zinsser B-I-N (29661 & 10130) is an excellent adhesion primer, its function is to bond to the substrate, block stains give key for the top coat to bond too. The top coat will protect the primer from scratching. I hope this helps.

Hello Thank you for your recent enquiry. For blocking the mould on the surface you have, we would recommend using Bulls Eye 123+ primer (652JG & 756JG) as this will block the staining from the mould, however the plasterboard does need to be dry with a moisture content of 12% or less. This would be the same for any of our paints or primers. Once the plasterboard is dry and clean we would recommend using a fungicidal wash in order to kill any remaining spores and allowing this to dry before applying the primer. Two coats of Bulls Eye 123+ should be applied by brush or roller at a coverage rate of approximately 10m2/L/coat, with a re-coat time of 2 hours. Once this has dried your choice of decorative top coat may be applied, either oil or water based. I hope this helps.

Hello Thank you for your recent enquiry. Bulls Eye 23 primer is suitable for areas of humidity, such as kitchens and bathrooms, due to the high humidity that will be created in the hot tub room, we wouldn't recommend this to be applied. Unfortunately, none of our other primers or top coats are suitable for this type of environment. I hope this helps.
