Width

Is 40mm the width across the whole hinge laid out flat or just one side to the centre of the pin?

hi, the person who answered to say that 40mm is the size when opened flat is not true. i purchased this hinge because of their review as i needed to fit a hinge on a door which was only 20mm thk. When the hinge is in the closed position it measures exactly 40mm from one edge to the outside edge of the pin. when opened flat it measures approx 70mm.

What is the diameter of the loose pin?

Wanting to use two of these hinges next to each other but need a rod that would fit through both of the pin holes and need to know the size of the pin gap or the pin diameter.
