When buying make sure to match with original lock dimensions for overall length and middle position. A slightly longer lock will give an overhang either inside or out, not the end of the world if this is the only item available in desperation.

For which thickness of door can this be used? The internal door that I need it for is only 35mm, so will this be too big?

Is this lock suitable for a solid timber garage internal fire door?
