Brackets
The rads are fine, bit easy to take the powder coat off with a spanner so a bit of care needed.
But the Brackets, ...where is Quality control ? You are supposed to get 4 brackets all facing in..two pairs. Unfortunately that's pot luck. Out of 5 Rads I have only had one proper set..basically you are aiming to land the bracket on a small square lug, depending on which way up you fit the rad this the bracket either fits inside the lug with a tight tolerance or sits outside on a wide rail If you follow the template guide and don't have 4 inward facing brackets you go to hang it and nothing lines up even though you have measured it...
To ensure an easy job. fit rad so that the top bracket fits inside the mounting lug then mark the position of the bottom bracket with the rad in place.

Fabulous
Bought this radiator for extension of my house. I didn't fit it myself but the chap who did put it up quickly and easily. Have to say it looks amazing kicks out a lot of heat and I am delighted with my purchase. The price was also reasonable.

Should i buy straight or right angled TRVs to go with this radiator? Is this the same for all Ximax Radiators

hi there, you would need to know where your pipes are coming from whether you need angled/corner/straight however , Standard 15mm valve will be fine, thanks Ximax

What depth is the radiator once fitted?
I’d like to fit the radiator in a small opening we’re depth is critical - the width and height seem fine but depth when fitted to the wall is critical thank you

What else do I need when buying this radiator please ?

Hello, This radiator will come with the full fitting pack to attach to the wall. The only thing you will need to buy separate is the TRV valve. These radiators will suite any 15mm valves, all of which can be located on the Screwfix website.

Can this radiator be hung so the valves are at the top.
Currently my supply pipes come down from the ceiling.

Hello, Unfortuantly not, the valves will always need to be fitted at the bottom either side of the radiator for this to work correctly.
