Great value, looks good!
This is the 5th one of these that I have bought - the other 4 were bought about 18 months ago.
They look very good, most visitors comment on how nice they as are as have them in the passage, dining room & living room. They work well - they heat up quickly and hold the heat well too.
The price hasnt gone up in 18 months so thats a bonus and I have no concerns at all about buying another one of these.
The only thing to note is that they get delivered from a different wharehouse so the delivery option you click at check-out doesnt apply to this. Still, mine was delivered within 4 days of ordering and they texted me with delivery time and gave an option to move it out by a day or two.

What valve do I need for this radiator?
Does it have to be a specific brand i.e. Ximax or can I use any other 15mm valve? Sorry if I sound like a rookie lol

functionallity
Does this radiator have the valve that enables it to be used in the summer months without switching on your whole central heating system. If not, can a valve be fitted to facilitate this?

Hi, no Unfortuantly not. If you are waiting a radiator to use summer and winter you would need a dual fuel radiator, there are gas central heating but also have an electrical element in to use in the summer.

What valves do I need to fit this radiator?
The valves required to fit this radiator do not come with the radiator. As a complete novice to this, please could you tell me what size and type of valves I need to fit it?

Hello, All the Ximax range fit 15mm valves. Which kind of valve would depend on your pipe work. If you pipe work is coming from the floor and into the radiator you would need angled. If pipes are coming out the wall and into the radiator you can use angled or corner. All these types of valves can be found on the Screwfix Website.
