Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic radiator Bought this to match the radiators in the rest of the house. We now have these radiators in every room downstairs and the heat they put out is fantastic and they look great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor product poor service We were attracted by the radiators sleek design and high output. It was apparently functioning fine for several years but then stopped working and the integral valves seem not to rotate properly. Both Screwfix and Ximax say the radiator would not just stop working and for this reason the Guarantee is not valid. Our system is maintained by a professional heating engineer and we fulfill the Guarantee terms. Ximax also say the integral valves are nothing to do with them. I wonder how many customers have been told the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from erupto.radiator needed a big output radiator for a large kitchen extension. this product looked good and packs a lot of heat which is what we wanted . but very heavy and because of the new wall fitting wasnt a doddle . but its up and running now and extremely effective , looks good too. not rated top on reliability coz its virtually new but no probs so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart looking radiator The quality of these seems to be very good. They are well constructed and are not flimsy. This does mean that they are quite heavy so are not easy to fit without someone to help. They give a nice even heat and make a welcome change to the old standard white radiators. Good fixings for the brackets are essential. The bolts supplied are ideal but my wall isn't the strongest so I may end up adding a second bolt to each bracket.

Valves

Does the radiator come with separates valves or are they integral? If integral, can they be replaced?
Asked by: Grezza02

Does it matter which way up the radiator is fitted?

There is no markings to say which way it should be fitted, I fitted one before and had to turn it round as it didn't work properly.
Asked by: AndrewIbb
Hi, yes this item is fitted with a baffle also known as a flow diverter. The radiator needs to be fitted with the baffle at the bottom so it works efficiently. If fitted at the top the radiator will suffer from patchy heat.

Specific Flow and return?

Is there a specific flow and return side on this radiator? Had it fitted weeks ago still getting a dripping noise and cold spots. Online it appears the flow and return could be fitted the wrong way around?
Asked by: ELSNRAEH
Hi, These radiators have a baffle/diverter inside which means they have to be fitted the correct way. If fitting upside down you will find the item will heat very patchy. To check this you will need to look through the back two feed tubes of the radiator, the tube which is partially blocked has the baffle/diverter this will need to be fitted at the bottom - the clear tube needs to be at the top. The flow and return can go either way as long as they are fitted at the bottom.

what are the pipe centres measurements for this radiator please and what valves are required if the pipes come up from the floor

Asked by: samandadam
Hi Samandadam, The pipe centers of this radiator are the width of the radiator plus the valve. We would normally say around 44mm either side, however this would depend on the valve used. It is then 41mm from the wall to the centre. For pipe work coming from the floor into the radiator you would need an angled valve. These can be brought direct from Screwfix.

Is there a way of reducing the noise when radiators filling?

We have had this for a year or so and it has always made a bit of noise when filling up but now seems to do it continually while on. We have bled it and there was no air to come out of the valve so it appears full.
Asked by: CForeman
hi this can be air void in the tube of the radiator and can be cleared by fitting a automatic air valve
