Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lacking a couple of features Using this to house 1x relay, it would be nice to have the option of a cable clamp for the flex coming into the box for the low power side. Also it would be good to include a blanking plate for when only using 1 item on the din rail. Otherwise it's good.. fits no problem and strong feel.

Can it be unofficially modified (hole saw & grommet), to accept rear entry from a 10mm2 6242Y cable? Basically, is there enough space? To house a Wylex DP switch

Will an 8 pin relay fit into this enclosure

looking to house an 8 pin relay which is on a base socket which will clip on o a DIN rail, Do I need the 2 module or 3 module enclosure

Is this item fire rated

Not all plastic enclosures are 18th edition regs. compliment. Just can’t sen to find out if this one is.

Hello. There is no fire rating for any of our insulated enclosures. They have passed the standard Glow wire (hot wire) test at 650 °C to BSEN60695-2-10. There is of course a metal version of this enclosure ESM6 which Screwfix sell (SKU: 666GX). Thank you for your interest in our Wylex brand.

Can the Wylex label be removed so it's all white?

Yes the Wylex label peels off easily and leaves no sticky patch, unlike the recycling sticker!. BTW the unit is more of a grey colour, not white.
