Rated 2 out of 5 by from Central heating pumpo As the connection flanges of this pump were plastic instead of brass, sealing of joints was impossible. I had to clean the accumulated muck from the old pump and reinstall it until I can get a suitable replacement after the Covid-19 pandemic. The problem was due to not being able to see the inferior nature of the pump before purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement for old grunfos Needed to keep the central heating going until the weather warms up & we can have a combo-boiler fitted. Last night the old grunfos pump fails! Cheapest on screwfix, read the reviews, some good, some bad but it’s only got to last 3 months! Ordered, delivers next day, fitted this evening! The 20+ year old fittings were a pain to get of but new isolators fitted, easy wiring, yes it has a plastic body but if everything lines up you shouldn’t cross thread it. System refilled & it’s purring away like a kitten, it’s not loud, it’s way quieter than the one it replaced but that was worn out! All together pleased, will it last, I may never find out!
