Rated 4 out of 5 by from Degrades after a few of years I recently had to take this tap back (for an exchange) as the lever itself had become stiff and some of the chrome has started to come away right at the end where the water runs off. No issues with the popup waste. This was after 2 years of use in a downstairs cloakroom. Luckily, it comes with a 10 year guarantee - which is fulfilled by ScrewFix themselves as the product is a ScrewFix brand. Decent customer services.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice piece of kit. Bought to replace dripping standard mixer tap. A doddle to fit, used the flow restriction pipe on the cold mains feed only and being in a ground floor toilet both flows were pretty much even but being a mixer tap either flow can be controlled by the operating lever. The waste wouldn't seal so had to use the underside fixing from the one I was replacing but like that the drainage slots are wider than my old one which seemed to block up regularly and so copes better. Solid construction and looks great, seen a few reliability problems but can't comment as newly installed. Have purchased one for the main bathroom yet to fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Chrome Plating Coming Off Bought this tap a couple of months ago and installed it last month. The tap is stylish and looks good, however, within few weeks the chrome plating is coming off. Surprised to see such poor quality plating. It could be a manufacturing fault with this particular one tap or are they all like that, hard to say! They offer 10 year guarantee, but, I have no idea what and who to contact to get it replaced!

Repair Tap

I am now on my second tap as the tap valve (glands i think) seem to block and fail after 6 months... How do you replace this?

Hello StanInLondon, There's a small grubscrew underneath the handle that will allow you to remove it. Once this is removed you can access the cartridge to change it. Thank you for using Q&A

Tap is dripping

My tap was installed less than six months ago but is now dripping. Your listing states there is a ten year guarantee subject to terms and conditions. What are the T&Cs and how does my guarantee work ?

Hello, The warranty T's & C's include the typical exclusion (i.e, damage and faults caused by improper use, improper installation, wear and tear (of the tap and its consumables), accidental damage etc. The 10 year warranty for this tap covers the body and finish of the tap. This is mentioned in the paperwork that comes with the tap. If your tap is dripping this is a sign that the tap glands likely need cleaning/replacing. This means that the tap isn't faulty, it's just that the consumables need replacing. Glands can wear quickly due to meany reasons, including being used in hard water areas (limescale etc) and also the tap lever being opened/closed with force. The dripping can be easily fixed by taking out the current gland and putting in a new one. The correct gland for this tap is F28D. We don't currently sell this sized gland, but if you search the internet for F28D glands it should show some retailers that do. Thanks for using Q&A
