Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very, Very Good This Tubfix bath panel was recommended to me from a friend. It took me about 25 minutes to install because some square frames didn't add up.However once fitted, the Tubfix frame is perfect and very strong, which means my wife will be able to sit on the end of the bath when chatting. Would I recommend this Tubfix frame to my mates? well the answer is YES

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pricey Way to expensive for what it is, the traditional way to use batten is much for cost effective and does pretty much the same job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great easy to fit innovation Great product even managed adapt it to accommodate my 22mm bath panel. Also it is reusable again if I ever want to change my bath in the future. I did call the manufacturer before placing my order to ask a couple of questions such as is it suitable for acrylic baths ( yes it is ) the gentleman was very helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product! I was looking through the website and I thought I would give this product a try, and it worked really well. Businesses will save precious time when installing baths which is also great for their customers. It’s simple to construct, high quality and it’s well worth the money.

Is this telescopic

Hi our bath is 1560mm would this fit it. Thank you
Asked by: Divvyzee
The frame is not telescopic but it can be cut down with a hacksaw. Its very meccano like and you can alter it to fit most applications. It will fit your 1560 bath yes.

Is this product suitable for acrylic baths and what is the maximum bath panel thickness it will accomadate

Asked by: NJW3
Hi, the frame should work on all bath materials, the thickness of the finish it can accommodate will be dependent on the width of your bath lip (the frame will be set back accordingly). In practice even a very small bath lip of say 40mm will allow a finish of around 15mm. In reality most bath lips are a lot larger than this thus allowing a much thicker finish. Thanks

Can the frame be adapted to go on a bow front bath?

Was looking into doing a timber frame for my bow front bath and spotted this frame. Wonder how easy it would be to adapt it for the curved front or whether not worth pursuing?
Asked by: BarrytheDIYer
Hi,The frame is not designed for a curved front unfortunately. It would be difficult to achieve the result you require with this frame. Thanks

How do you secure the wall side of the bath

Using this metal frame system what is the best method to secure the wall side of the bath
Asked by: Dave567
Hi, The frame is designed to support the front edge of the bath and the bath. A traditional fixing on the back edge of the bath would be required such as a batten Thanks

Panel

Does this support the bath or just the panel? And, can a hinged door be placed in the frame?
Asked by: DIWhy2018
The frame supports the bath (there are rubber screw that screw up to under the lip of the bath) and the bath panel or even a tile backer / cement board for tiling. I have literally used a small amount of silicone to keep panel in place as its easy to take off at a later date. I cant see why you can not work a hinged door onto the frame. But you would definitely have to make a pilot hole first as metal is quite thick before a self tapper is used.
