Rated 4 out of 5 by from Triton Shower My second Triton shower for DIY installation at home. Second shower room. So impressed with the first shower that I stayed with Triton for the second. Easy to fit, good instructions and operates well. The shower's performance is down to low water pressure in my house and not the product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unsuitable for my needs I can only presume that this shower unit would be perfect for certain replacements or new installations, unfortunately it wasn't what I required once I had opened the unit, as the fixed electric connections were in the wrong place for me to use as a replacement. So I went back to the store and they gladly replaced this for me with the Triton T80 Easi-fit shower which I have used peviously, the function to be able to move the electrical connections made replacing the old shower much easier for this installation. So for the extra £20, I would definitely recommend the Triton T80 Easi-fit instead, and saves much more time with the installation on both the plumbing and electical connections.

Replace a Triton T80xr

Would this be an easy and suitable replacement for a triton T8xr without much modification Thanks.

Thank you for your recent question. There would need to be some modification as the T70 GSI PLUS unit will have the terminal block on the left hand side and water bottom right or left but a horizontal fitting. The T80XR will have water bottom right but vertical and the terminal lock will also be on the left. I hope that this information is of help. Regards, Karl.

I currently have a Triton Jade shower (Mod. No. 96900110) (Ser. No. 00044193). I wish to replace it with a Triton T70gsi+. Are the plumbing connections (mains water input pipe thread size etc.) compatible?

What is the distance in mm from the edge of the water inlet hole to the outermost side of the shower unit?

Thank you for your recent enquiry. As viewed from the front from the inlet connection point edge to the L/H side of the unit the DIM is 40mm. From the same point with the inlet elbow positioned to the right to the r/h edge the DOIM will be 65mm. Regards, Karl
