Rated 4 out of 5 by from Online in every room Purchased this to extend wi-fi upstairs in a 4 bed house and to the garden patio where previously coverage was patchy or non existent. Straightforward set up using the app and I located the extender in downstairs hallway. Works a treat with coverage and improved signal strength.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it says Had a WiFi black spot in my son's bedroom after moving our router. Read the reviews and tried this one. Used the WPS button to link the units with the extender plugged in around 10ft from our router, took around 2 to 3 mins for them to link up Then moved the extender to his bedroom it took around another 2 mins for them to link up then full WiFi Happy son

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works with Hyperoptic router We updated our router early last year to a dual band router and had a struggle with wifi upstairs as our previous wifi extender wouldn’t work. This has boosted the wifi around the house even though located downstairs in the hallway, solid wifi upstairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Killed WiFi dead zone Having read either great or terrible reviews of this product it’s obviously great when it works but I guess useless if it doesn’t. For under £25 and by far the simplest solution I thought try this first save some money if it works and return for a plan b if it doesn’t. I’m glad to say it worked perfectly for me. My nearest plug socket was just within 16 foot - tick. I then moved it a further 8 ft to where I needed it to be and still picked up the signal from the router - tick. The security camera on the other side of the house to the router now picks up the extended signal with ease and works really well whereas before it couldn’t even see the network to pick it up - tick tick tick!! If you have an avg size 3 bed semi and you have your router at the front or back of the house plug this in at the centre point of the house to cover the furtherest part of the house from your router - Simple. The app made configuration really simple. Very happy.

do you need to connect to the extener to use it or does it mirror the exisitng network and just connect as usual, dont really want to have to keep connecting to different wifi networks
Asked by: Mharve
