Rated 4 out of 5 by from SYLVANIA LED PIPE Fitting Nice unit bar for ridiculously short mains lead as supplied. For a few pence more they could have made it far more useful and included a metre of cable!! Not what I'd call a straight replacement for the old Sylvania Fluorescent units with mains input being opposite end of the fitting and such a short cable!! Can't easily fit a decent length of cable either! Come on Sylvania, try using common sense here and fit 1m cable!!

it says linkable, do you sell the link cable or how do I link?

They link male to female ends without a cable. If you do need a cable to go around an object then we have our code 4116X.

will this be brighter than 3ft fluorescent

Hi. Typically a 3ft fluorescent T5 is about 1,900 lumens. This fitting is 1,300 so it will be less bright. However, fluorescent tubes lose their efficiency and light output after a while so they don't always maintain the 1,900 lumens. It depends how old your current tube is and what light level you've got used to. Maybe try it and if not happy you can return it?

Power supply driver

Hi. The driver is built into the product. It runs direct from the mains and comes with a stripped cable for you to either wire in directly or put a UK mains plug on. Hope this helps.
