Also, they fit very well as I'm a 6'8 bloke and it is always hard to find the right work wear for my size. They're not cheap, but they are definitely worth their price, highly recommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Zips made of chocolate X2 pairs in last 10 months. Unfortunately both pairs zips have completely failed and unstitched/tore from trousers. Pairs many years ago never an issue. Cost cutting on zips is obvious here. I am In contact with snickers let's see the outcome.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The best I’ve tried I’ve worn these for years but strayed last year and bought a different brand having tried on several. I’ve come back to snickers because, although not perfect in pocket arrangement for me they do at least stay up. Others that I have tried are constantly being hauled up as they slip beyond the hips. The ease of installing the knee pads was another big factor in returning to snickers. All in all although not cheap definitely the best and worth paying the extra for day long comfort.

Are the Knee Pads bought separately for these trousers

If so….what knee pads should be used with them?

Yes. You should buy the Snickers 9110 or 9191 XTR D3O kneepads which are specially designed to be worn with these trousers and are the only kneepads certified to meet the requirements of EN14404 for knee protection with the 3212 Snickers trousers.

Help

I my partner got me my 2nd pair of these DuraTwil Snickers pants for Christmas and today the zipper broke. Is there anything I can do to get this problem resolved quickly as my last pair is still in pretty good condition.

Best option is to find a local seamstress and put in a replacement zip - Snickers only use genuine YKK zips to ensure the best quality, so make sure the replacement is of a similar quality. Zips usually only break when they are forced apart when taking the trousers off and the zip has not been fully lowered...

Would the 9118 knee pads fit comfortably inside these trousers? If not these ones, which trousers would you recommend for the 9118 knee pads?

Bought a pair of trousers and unable to bend my legs with the 9118 knee pads. So looking for trousers that can fit these knee pads in and still be flexible enough to bend my legs - working on my knees all day

Are they cotton? If so what percentage

Not interested in polyamide.

The 3212 DuraTwill trousers are 52% cotton and 48% polyamide, with the weave designed so that more of the cotton is on the inside for comfort, while the polyamide is on the outer surface for durability. An alternative would be the 3214 Canvas Plus which is identical in design but made from 60% cotton and 40% polyester.
