Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good lock for the price! This lock was just what I needed. Good value for money and looks more expensive than it actually is. Instructions were clear and the lock was easy to fit. Looks great on my new door and works perfectly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality, not for knobs This is of great quality and I was really happy with the lock originally. I feel it is important to point out however if you are planning on using door knobs with this, it really isn't suited. It is a one way directional turn meaning the door knobs only work by being turned one way, also it is heavy duty sprung which is great for a lever but with a knob it becomes a bit too stiff. It would have been helpful to know that it is just one way directional as I would have looked elsewhere for a multi directional lock

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I hope my one was faulty I can only hope the one a received was faulty as it is without doubt the worst lever mechanism I have ever encountered. The return spring is far too strong so my 6 year old couldn’t open the door. The mechanism also feels very rough as if there’s components rubbing internally. I have ordered a replacement from an alternate supplier and will be returning this piece of junk to Screwfix at the earliest opportunity

Backset size

I see in the specification that the backset size is 75mm and the product width is 75mm. This is clearly impossible. My opinion is that the product width is possibly correct, however what is the backset size then?
Asked by: Oliver1234
In the UK there are two common backset sizes carpenters use for residential properties, these are 57mm and 45mm
