my old cylinder is 90mm 40 40 will a 40 50 do

Hello Thank you for your question, You will need to replace it with a 40mm x 40mm because the the lock will not fit flus. (3512X) This number is for a 40x40 cylinder lock. Thank you for using the Screwfix Q&A service
