I took off one star for performance rating because I feel the countersink could be a little deeper, especially given the size of the hinge I'd expect it to be ready for decent size screws, very easily rectified on site. Overall very happy with them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good basic hinge Bought these to make folding legs for an outdoor table. Appear to be robust for the purpose and being solid brass they will not rust in an outdoor setting. I’ve fitted all four that I bought and was pleased with the smooth action. A good value product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Hinges I looked at every hinge on the website and read all the reviews on every hinge that looked useful to me. I thought these would do what I wanted so I chose them for a trial. They feel solid and chunky and I think they will do for my project but I have not yet used them - they're a back-up for the continuous hinge I fitted already in case that one fails. The prices for some were ridiculously low and ridiculously high, these seem reasonable. I have only one point: the countersunk holes are not mirror image drillings, each side is the same slightly random pattern and I now see all the photos show this but that does seem odd to me (perhaps my memory is failing) anyway what was truly odd was that the holes don't appear to be quite the same size. I decided it did not matter and the screws fit so who cares? I like them overall and I would recommend them.

size

Is the 60mm width with the hinge opened out or with the hinge closed? My door is only about 32mm think so I am wondering if it is too wide.

Is this product suitable for a opening out Shed door approx 50kg in weight
