Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good enough for my purpose. This is definitely not a professional tool. It is clearly aimed at those woodworkers frustrated with hand-routers but who don't want to spend £000's or don't have enough space for a full size machine. You will need about 4 to 6 hours to assemble and set up the fence and extension tables. The manual is not brilliant - in particular the pictures showing the assembly process are very dark and almost unusable. You will also need an 8mm AF spanner and a No 2 Phillips or Pozidrive screwdriver. I have about 2 hours use out of mine so far and consider the machine adequate for most woods. I have been machining kiln dried oak and got good results. You need to take light cuts - max feed is about 4mm per pass - preferably less. The mitre fence is useless. The guide stands slightly proud of the table so your workpiece rocks on it. There is no way of holding your work on the fence so it slips out of your fingers and produces wavy cuts and the marked angles aren't that accurate. The spindle has flats machined into it so you can use the offset spanner (supplied) in conjunction with the collet spanner (also supplied) although these flats are hard to find. Avoid using the soft plastic spindle lock when removing a router bit. The spindle lock mechanism isn't brilliant and is just about adequate for when loading a bit into the machine but definitely doesn't cope with a seized collet nut after a few passes. The manual strongly recommends using forced extraction for the chippings/dust although I haven't found this to be a problem yet. You do need to pay attention when raising / lowering the spindle and make sure you operate the locking mechanism both on and off properly to avoid stripping the plastic gears. Overall a goodish tool - I just wish I could afford better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Scheppach let you down I have a number of budget Power tools from screwfix manufactured by Titan and erbauer with nothing to complain about but the scheppach range that I have used appear to be a substandard product for screwfix. You will be better buying a router and insert plate and make your own table. Even at light use with sharp trend router bits the results are very disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from router table Prefere's high speed as vibrates a bit on 2/3 but very good value for money

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sent it back This machine has great potential but is a real let down. The plastic moulded guides and attachments are not straight, the screws used in assembley are soft and the instructions are not clear. I would happily pay more money for this machine if the quality was better but, in it's current condition, it is heavily overpriced.
