Rated 5 out of 5 by from HBS20 Bandsaw Just got this so it's new to me, but so far very good. It's my first ever band saw & I put it to use straight away. I don't expect it to be a H.D. industrial equipment as it is a Hobby machine & that's what I'll expect from it. Although I would have liked to have a mitre fence.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not great The saw arrived and worked out of the box. It's not well tuned, however, and the blade broke within forty uses. You'd be better spending a bit more on a better product - especially when new blades are 20% of the initial purchase price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from diy.er I originally wanted to purchase the titan model but out of stock I was advised to buy this one by a member of staff and I'm glad I took the advise its a cracking bit of kit its quiet and very reliable I use it every weekend and wouldn't be without it 5 ***** rating for this tool

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shoddy product I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that Scheppach have no quality control department. The base plate was deformed, none of the blade adjustments were anywhere near where they should have been. The blade tensioner had to be striped down to make it work and finally the cord tidy that should have been located at the back of the machine was missing completely. After fettling it works O.K.

Will a 18TPI 56 X 1/8 fit this bandsaw

Asked by: Kevie000
Hello I think 56 inches is too long as the top wheel could foul the underside at the top of the machine body , you require I400MM / 55 inch blade .

Not sure of the terminology of throat, depth etc. I would like to know what the max height of wood that would pass between the table top and the top of the cutting blade

Asked by: brwwdesigns
Hello The maximum cutting depth is 80mm , how ever , if most of your cuts are this depth you would need to go up to the hbs 300 which has a depth of cut of 175mm . Thank you .
