Is this drill capable of drilling a 12mm hole in 6.5mm mild steel plate –assuming it is done in two stages, firstly using a 6mm drill then a 12mm one? Thank you for your help.

Can this be rotated 180º on the foot?

I would need to drill into the edge of some large sheets. Can the head of the drill be rotated so that I can do this?

Hello The head will rotate 360 degrees it locks with a grub screw , the base would have to be bolted to a table .
