What does the ga in 8ga mean?
I’ve always bought quicksilver 8 x 1”, for example.
Now I see specifications that say 8ga
The boxes I have all say just 8 x whatever
Is there some info please ?
Asked by: Dysgwr70
Hello Dysgwr70,
Yes, if the length is still stated in inches then the '8' will still mean '8 gauge' (8ga), which equates to a thread diameter of approximately 4mm.
