Rated 5 out of 5 by from No nonsense oil Used on outdoor bench. Easy to apply with a cloth, good absorption and able to apply further coats faster than I expected and likewise it goes further than predicted. Nice natural finish. Very pleased so far. It is now my outdoor oil of choice.

Is this suitable for indoor furniture?

Indoor furniture gets moldy due to being in an old building with no ventilation. Trying to find something that will help prevent mold from returning.
Asked by: Ladydeath
Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. I have had this issue before and the way i resolved this is by cleaning the wood with No Nonsense Methylated Spirit 500ml (13028) first and leave to dry and then sand very lightly all the furniture with a fine sandpaper or wire wool and then apply the No Nonsense Garden Furniture Oil Clear 1Ltr. this will last up to 18months, and you will need to repeat the process. Please always use PPE when using chemicals. Hope that helps. Thank you for using Q&A.

How many coats do you recommend on new wood? Does this product dry matt or shiny

Asked by: MrandMrsL
Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. I would apply at least 2 coats for the first prep and then 1 coat every year to keep looking nice. Yes it gives you a very smooth sheen look. Thank you for using Q&A.

Suitable for garden seat

Is it suitable for a garden seat as I don't want the seat to be sticky or to damage clothing
Asked by: Houseman99
Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. Should be fine but if your garden seat has been treated before this might react and remain sticky. It's worth looking at the reviews, (good and bad). Ideally you could try a test patch first. Thank you for using Q&A.

Can I use no nonsense garden furniture oil on wood previously treated with no nonsense danish oil?

I’ve treated a garden table made from old scaffold boards with danish oil, but need to put on something with a similar finish that’s more hardwearing. Is it ok to now use the no nonsense garden furniture oil? Thanks
Asked by: Sassyj
Hello Sassyj, These can be used one over the other but I would recommend letting it weather for at least a year before the application of the furniture oil. Thank you for using Q&A
