It's really good quality for the price. The saw feels really robust and even comes with a protective guard. It's ideal for cutting mdf panelling up to 9mm and dado rails to size.

Is this suitable for cutting dado rail to angle in with the wall and wall beside it?

Is it a router I would need? or will this mitre box and saw be suitable?

Laminate floor beading

Looking for a mitre and saw to do small beading of laminate floor edges. This looks a bit heavy duty for that small job. Anyone used for this job or can advise a better purchase

Decking

Hi, Will this cut decking vertically?

Hello, This mitre box only has a cutting angle of 45° and 90°. So it can cut straight across horizontally, or at an angel horizontally. However, it would not be able to cut vertically (180°) You would likely need a table saw/circular saw or similar tool for cutting decking boards vertically Thanks for using Q&A. [DG]
