Hi FlyingPussy, All of our LED replacement 2D lamps with 4 pins have been designed for use with Electronic ballasts (which have _no_ separate starter) only, so no there isn't a starter to use with them. For a Magnetically ballasted fitting (with a starter required) you would need to be looking at the 2 pin versions of these lamps, which come with a suitable starter in the pack.

Hi Tramaga, Our LED replacement 2D lamps which are designed for Magnetically ballasted fittings come with the starter included in the package, you don't need to buy it separately.

This Luceco G24Q 4-Pin 2D LED Light Bulb 2000lm 18W is suitable as a replacement for any 36W Halogen 2D lamp in a fitting with an Electronic Ballast (i.e. not requiring / using a starter). If your fitting needs to use a starter then you would require a 2 pin Magnetic ballast compatible 2D lamp instead.
