Suitable for External Larch Cladding?

Does anyone have any experience of this oil on new larch cladding? Don't really subscribe the to "weathered look" so would really like to protect from UV as well as the water proofing.

Is this Danish oil food safe?

Asked by: Cipr
No, it is NOT foodsafe... I rang Liberon tech department, and they say none of their oils are certified food safe. They say fine for a worktop, but not anything that would come into direct contact with food, such as a chopping board.

I want to use this on outdoor pine table and chairs. I have heard about blotching issues with pine soaking up more of the oil in parts of the grain. To avoid this, what kind of product would be suitable to put on the wood before applying danish oil?
