I could easily adjust the motion range so that only people walking up to my porch would set the light off. Very effective. Rubber seals are a bit fiddly to fit but once fitted are fine

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sensors dont work properly Bought this becuse it looked smart & had adjustable sensors and time. The motion sensor is supposed to be adjustable from 2m to 8m. My driveway is 6m deep. Even on the shortest setting its picking up people walking past on the opposite side of the road - that's about 18m away!! Also time supposed to be adjustable from 10secs to 4 mins. Its actually 30secs to more like 8 minutes. Its going back tomorrow

is the pir adjustable

I want to place this in a porch and would like to know if the pir will detect movement in hall through the porch windows and if pir is adjustable.

i currently have 3 normal on off outside lights working off 1 switch. Can i change them to these pir lights without altering the wiring?

Hello, This would depend on what your current wiring is like. This light is class 1 so would require an earth and you should use round 3 core to wire up this light (flat twin and earth would mean the IP44 rating would be reduced and so should not be used). Also, these lights cant be wired together (loop in loop out). Without knowing your exact wiring set up we cant comment as to whether it would be a straight swap. An electrician would be able to assist you more in this respect. Thanks for using Q&A. [DG]
