I cannot yet comment on their life . Our light fitting is too attractive to change to use some other bulbs interface which are available in more energy efficient bulbs.

Lumens?

When will suppliers learn that it is must better to give the light output of lamps/bulbs etc in Lumens. That way we could compare like-with-like, especially those of us who want to go over to LED.
