Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful design Clearly Karcher are trying to introduce gimmicks to keep ahead of the competition. However the power control gun is a nightmare to set up and relies on electronics to change the settings of the spray which were happily dealt with by a simple twist of the lance in previous models. Electronics and water do not mix and the concept is flawed. Next is the crazy arrangement of the high pressure hose. It passes through a hole in the plastic housing through a flimsy loop of plastic .The gun needs to be removed every time you want to put the machine away and the hose dragged back through the hole and then wrestled with to return it to a shape small enough to hang on the flimsy plastic bracket on the back . The electric cable has no place to wind it on to so you end up winding it round the whole machine to tidy it up after use. After inspecting this basic functions I did not even connect the washer to a water supply , I simply returned it to it's packaging and took it back to Screwfix for a refund. Why after years of producing pressure washers Karcher have come up with this terrible design is a complete mystery? My previous Karcher which has just died was a 6.75 and had a winding reel for the high pressure hose on one side and a reel for a feed hose on the other. It had a cable tidy for the plug and a hopper on the backend front for the accessories. That was the best design ever and Karcher did it 10-12 years ago! This latest expensive abomination should be avoided. I have gone with a Nilfisk now which sports a reel for the high pressure hose. The high pressure hose is a much better quality with steel bracing and is truly non-kink and runs freely in and out of the reel. The pump has a high quality brass head. The Karcher has nylon valves which are designed to fail after about 50 hours of use which takes you just outside of the guarantee period. I would advise potential customers to avoid this latest Karcher design as they are expensive and flawed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Karcher K7 I was not sure whether to spend what seems like a lot of money for this pressure washer but fear not it is well worth the extra. It is a strong and robust yet good looking machine with enormous power output. It is easy to use and with a 10m hose reduces the need to continually move the machine. I tried it out to clean our patio and it took so little time and is so much cleaner. I also used the stone cleaner and this also provides a refreshing aroma as well as helps to reduce the winter covering Overall - to date - it is a great machine and worth the money

Does this pressure washer have the hose reel at the back? The picture on the website is very vague
